Call out, Service Charge & Cancellation Policy

Our Commitment to You

At Dual Action Roadside, we are dedicated to providing fast, reliable roadside assistance across Watford, St Albans, Harrow, and Hemel Hempstead. To maintain our high standards of service, we have established the following policies regarding service charges and cancellations.

Service Charge Structure

Initial Booking Charge

  • A non-refundable service charge is collected at the time of booking
  • This covers our initial callout costs including dispatch, fuel, and technician allocation
  • The amount varies based on service type and location

Remaining Service Charge

  • The remainder of the service charge is payable upon successful completion of the service
  • This will be clearly communicated at the time of booking
  • Payment can be made via credit/debit card, mobile payment, or cash (where applicable)

Cancellation Policy

Standard Hours (6am – 8pm)

  • The initial service charge is non-refundable
  • This policy is in place to cover our resource allocation and preparation costs
  • We appreciate as much advance notice as possible for cancellations

Out of Hours (8pm – 6am)

  • The initial service charge remains non-refundable
  • Additional charges may apply for specialist out-of-hours services

Unable to Complete Service

If our technician arrives but cannot complete the service due to:

  • Additional vehicle issues beyond the scope of the booked service
  • Safety concerns
  • Vehicle conditions that prevent service completion

The initial service charge will be retained to cover our attendance and diagnostic time.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your service:

  • Please contact us as soon as possible
  • The original service charge will apply to the rescheduled appointment
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability

Refund Policy

  • Initial service charges are non-refundable as they cover our immediate resource allocation
  • Any additional amounts paid beyond the initial service charge may be refundable at our discretion if services cannot be rendered
  • Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 5-7 business days

Service Guarantee

If we are unable to reach you within our promised timeframe due to factors within our control, we may offer a discount on future services at our discretion.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
