Lockout Service Policy

Last Updated: 3rd March 2025

  1. Service Description
    • Dual Action Roadside (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides lockout assistance services (“Service”) to customers who are unable to access their vehicle due to lost, misplaced, or locked-in keys. Our trained technicians typically use non-destructive methods and specialized tools to unlock cars, motorcycles, and vans.
  2. Customer Responsibility
    • Proof of Ownership: You must present valid identification and proof of ownership or lawful use of the vehicle (e.g., registration, insurance, rental agreement) before we proceed with unlocking.
    • Vehicle Information: You must inform us of any unusual locking mechanisms, alarm systems, or aftermarket modifications that may affect the lockout procedure.
  3. Service Limitations
    • Specialized Equipment: While we carry tools for most standard locks, certain high-security or custom systems may require dealership intervention or specialized locksmith services. In such cases, we will advise accordingly.
    • Damage Risks: Although our technicians use non-destructive methods, we cannot guarantee zero risk of minor damage to older or nonstandard locking systems.
  4. Risk & Liability
    • Possible Damage: Some vehicles, especially those with damaged or worn components, may be more susceptible to scratches or minor dents. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damages exacerbated by lockout attempts.
    • Disclaimer of Warranties: We make no guarantee regarding the long-term functionality of any locking mechanisms. If your lock system is defective or compromised, you may need additional repairs or parts replacement.
    • Limited Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dual Action Roadside shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the lockout service.
  5. Fees & Payment
    • Service Fee: A standard call-out or lockout fee applies, which will be communicated to you upfront. Additional charges may apply for complex or high-security locks.
    • Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in a separate written arrangement.
  6. Additional Services
    • Key Replacement: We do not offer on-site key fabrication or coding services. If a new key is required, we may refer you to a qualified locksmith or dealership.
    • Further Assistance: If vehicle systems are compromised or the lock system is beyond repair, towing or specialist locksmith services may be recommended.
  7. Customer Support & Complaints
    • Contact: For inquiries or to report any concerns regarding our lockout services, please contact us at [email protected] or 07594 218651.
    • Resolution: We strive to address all issues or disputes promptly and fairly.
  8. Policy Modifications
    • We reserve the right to update or modify this Lockout Service Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our service after any updates signifies acceptance of the revised terms.
  9. Governing Law
