Puncture Repair Policy

Last Updated: 3rd March 2025

  1. Service Description
    • Dual Action Roadside (“we,” “us,” “our”) offers puncture repair services (“Service”) to address minor tyre damage on cars, motorcycles, and vans. When possible and safe, we use industry-standard repair methods to patch or plug a puncture on the spot.
  2. Customer Responsibility
    • Accurate Information: You must inform us of any known or suspected tyre damage, past repairs, or other relevant issues before we begin the Service.
    • Inspection & Maintenance: After the repair, you are responsible for regularly checking tyre pressure and condition to ensure continued safety. If any issues arise, we recommend consulting a qualified tyre professional.
  3. Service Limitations
    • Repair Viability: Not all punctures can be safely repaired. For example, sidewall damage or large tears may require a full tyre replacement. If our technician deems the tyre unsafe to repair, we will advise you accordingly.
    • Tyre Condition: Excessive wear, structural damage, or multiple previous repairs may limit or prevent a successful puncture repair.
    • Temporary Solutions: Some repairs may be considered temporary to allow you to reach a service station or garage for a more thorough inspection or replacement.
  4. Risk & Liability
    • Potential Damage: While we follow best practices, repairs carry inherent risk. Tyre failures can result from issues unrelated to our repair (e.g., hidden or existing damage, wear, or structural flaws).
    • Disclaimer of Warranties: We do not guarantee the long-term integrity or performance of any repaired tyre. We are not liable for subsequent tyre failures or damage to your vehicle post-repair if caused by factors beyond our control.
    • Limited Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dual Action Roadside shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or relating to puncture repair services.
  5. Fees & Payment
    • Service Fee: We charge a call-out or standard repair fee, which will be communicated to you upfront. Additional costs (e.g., for new tyres, towing, or further services) may apply if the puncture cannot be safely repaired.
    • Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the Service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  6. Additional Services
    • Further Inspection: If our technician determines that the damage cannot be safely repaired on-site, we may recommend towing services, a tyre replacement, or referral to a specialized tyre shop.
    • Follow-Up: We encourage customers to have a professional inspection of any repaired tyre for peace of mind, especially if you plan on extended or high-speed driving.
  7. Customer Support & Complaints
    • Contact: If you have questions or concerns regarding our puncture repair services, please contact us at admin@dualaction.uk or 07594 218651.
    • Resolution: We aim to resolve disputes promptly and fairly. If you are unsatisfied with our Service, please reach out so we can address and rectify the issue.
  8. Policy Modifications
    • We reserve the right to amend this Puncture Repair Policy at any time, with changes taking effect upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our Service after the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those modifications.
  9. Governing Law
    • This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under or related to this Policy shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.
