- Service Description
- Dual Action Roadside (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides battery jump start services (“Service”) to customers whose vehicles have depleted or discharged batteries. We use standard jumper cables or portable jump start devices to supply the necessary power for most vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, and vans.
- Customer Responsibility
- Vehicle Assessment: It is the customer’s responsibility to inform our technician of any known vehicle issues (e.g., battery age, electrical malfunctions, or aftermarket systems).
- Consent to Service: By requesting a battery jump start, you acknowledge and agree to proceed with the Service, understanding all associated risks (see Section 4).
- Service Limitations
- Equipment: We use professional-grade equipment suited for standard automotive batteries. However, if specialized or heavy-duty equipment is needed (e.g., for certain commercial or specialty vehicles), additional arrangements may be required.
- Battery Health: A successful jump start does not guarantee your battery’s ongoing performance or health. If your battery fails to hold a charge, we may recommend replacing it or consulting a qualified mechanic.
- Risk & Liability
- Potential Damage: While we take all reasonable precautions to prevent damage, a jump start involves working with electrical systems that carry some inherent risk. Older or faulty batteries, cables, wiring, or other components may fail under stress.
- Disclaimer of Warranties: We make no guarantees regarding the long-term effectiveness of the jump start. We are not responsible for pre-existing vehicle issues or any subsequent damage resulting from those issues.
- Limited Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dual Action Roadside shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the provision of battery jump start services.
- Fees & Payment
- Service Fee: A call-out or flat fee may apply, which will be communicated to you in advance. Additional charges may occur if extra services (e.g., towing, battery replacement) are required.
- Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the Service unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.
- Additional Services
- If the vehicle cannot be started or safely operated after a jump start, or if our technician identifies another mechanical or electrical issue, we may recommend additional services such as towing, a more in-depth diagnostic, or battery replacement. Any further services fall under separate terms and may involve additional costs.
- Customer Support & Complaints
- Contact: If you have any questions or concerns about the battery jump start service, please contact us at [email protected] or 07594 218651.
- Resolving Disputes: We aim to resolve any disputes promptly and fairly. If you are unsatisfied with our Service, please reach out so we can address and rectify the issue.
- Modifications to Policy
- We reserve the right to modify or update this Battery Jump Start Policy at any time, effective upon posting an updated version on our website. Your continued use of our Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
- Governing Law
- This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under or relating to this Policy shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of United Kingdom.
